Last night I finally finished checking the stuff I've been working at kitting up for completeness. Unfortunately, I've managed to misplace the notebook where I was keeping my lists of what flosses I need, what still needed copied (and what I could copy at home vs at Kinkos), etc, so I had to start a new list. Maybe I'll finish it before I leave for work today.

*sigh* Yes, my days off are over, it's back to the grind. At least I like my job, so that helps.

On a brighter note, I actually picked out fabric for 3 projects last night.

Don't have my list ready to post, but I started making project cards, so soon, hopefully. (I'm not sure I really want to know how many there are. It's going to be an intimidating list, especially by January 1st.)

Especially since I got another pattern in the mail today. I need to stay off of Quin's Auction or I'll never get caught up.

Didn't get to post yesterday but did finish going through the floss I'd bought for projects and made a list of what I still needed.

I also made a checklist to put in each project bag to make sure I have everything and that they're ready to go. Mostly I seem to need fabric -- maybe I'll make that tomorrow's project. I'm sure I'll have to buy some, especially for the sets if I want them to be on matching fabric, but surely amongst my boxes of fabric there'll be pieces I can use for some of these projects.

I need working copies, too. Some of those I can do here at home, but some will have to go to a copy center. Fortunately, there's a Kinkos not too far from the jail, so I'll just have to leave home early one day and run up there before work.

Never did get to Michael's for floss yesterday, but did get a few more of them at Wal-Mart today.

Took my "Crazy Quilter" finish down to the Folk Festival last night, along with the mat that I got from Michael's. Martha (the artist whose booth I'm helping out at) trimmed the mat down to a more reasonable size and it looks so much better. Just have to get it ironed and matted now, then I can give it to my mother. Should have done that today, but had too much running around to do this morning so didn't have time.

By the end of the weekend I hope to be posting a list of what all I have kitted up and ready to start.

Just under 5 months until the URP officially begins on January 1st.

So many patterns, so little time...

Back at it again today... been putting floss with projects. Even went to WalMart for floss for another project (Elemental Cosmos) because the fabric for it arrived from 123 Stitch today. As usual, however, WalMart didn't have all the colors I need so I have to make a trip to Michael's. My roommate has to take her car over to Indiana (PA) tomorrow for an oil change and inspection, so I'll see if we can stop there so I don't have to make a special trip.

I think I'm nearing the end of the bag full of bags of floss, which means I have to start thinking about fabric. I have tons, so shouldn't have to buy more, except it seems that I never have anything the right size or color or count or...

Also, once all the floss is put with the projects, I'll have to take inventory of what all I currently have kitted up, or almost kitted up, and what each one still needs. (Mostly everything is going to still need fabric... Fabric is so hard for me to make a decision about.)

And I still have to find my digital camera. When I had to move it because my computer had to go to the shop, I put it someplace I'd know where it was, which I thought was my desk drawer, but it's not in there.
